We are currently in the research and design phase, working closely with educators, school leaders, and partners across Greece to better understand the needs of the education system and to develop an approach with real, lasting impact.
Teach For Greece aims to become part of the global Teach For All network, which operates in over 60 countries with a shared mission to expand opportunity for all children through education.
We believe that meaningful change starts in the classroom — through the everyday experiences of students — and is built by people who choose to actively contribute to a more fair and prosperous society.

Our mission is to expand equitable access to high-quality education by developing leader-educators and strengthening schools, so that all students can access real opportunities and become active citizens.

We recruit and develop leader-educators
We identify and support a new generation of educators and professionals who are committed to equity, excellence, and impact. Fellows are placed in schools where students face the greatest barriers to opportunity.
We train for instructional excellence and leadership
Fellows receive ongoing training and support to develop strong teaching practices, build high expectations for all students, and foster critical thinking, responsibility, and ambition in the classroom.
We develop longterm leaders
Our model is not limited to the classroom. Fellows become alumni after 2 years of teaching, when they decide on their next professional steps as leaders who understand the challenges of the system and are equipped to contribute to change across sectors over time.
We build and support an alumni network
Beyond the programme, alumni continue to work across education, policy, business, and social impact — forming a growing network of leaders committed to expanding opportunity and improving systems in Greece.
We support schools and learning environments
We work alongside schools to strengthen teaching and learning conditions, contributing to more supportive, inclusive, and effective environments for students.
We contribute to system-level change
Through partnerships, evidence, and long-term engagement, we aim to influence the broader ecosystem around the child — helping strengthen the link between education and opportunity.
